Cochon Dingue Lebourgneuf

I was unsure of the place when my wife first suggested we eat here during our trip. I mean, I didn't even know the place. However, after eating here, I can say that this place is one of the highlights our trip. The staff are friendly and their prices are fair.

They have some of the best ribs I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Messy, to be sure, but still highly enjoyable. I also tried their Famous Pot en Pot; a seafood dish with shrimp, crab, salmon, and lobster. I thought they were exaggerating about the famous part. I was wrong. If you like seafood, I strongly recommend this dish.

Given the chance, I would eat here again in a hummingbird's heartbeat.

Tried the avocado toast with poached egg. such a delight and only 9$
try their apple butter. was so good on baguette that we bought a can to take home to spread on our favorite breads. only 8$.
this place is always on my quebec to go list.

Pretty good restaurant, as I'm told it's a chain but nonetheless was super delicious.

Ordered the shrimp/lobster linguine pasta and my friends ordered the steak frites.

For dessert we ordered the creme brulee which was a good portion.

Wonderful place for having brunch. The place was packed and had a waiting queue, although we got in after 10 mins, so not bad.
Smoked salmon omelette was amazing, it came with raspberry dip and a apple butter dip, which made it even better!
Definitely worth the wait.
Ps: We ended up sharing one serving of smoked salmon omelette and 1 plate of berry French toasts , portion size was just right for sharing.

Hands down a five star restaurant. To begin the staff were friendly and bilingual. Food came out extremely fast, much faster than I had expected for a busy spot. Portions of the plates were big as can be seen in the photos. Prices were good for the sizes of the portions. The duck was fresh and presentation was appealing. Last but not least the restaurant itself is nicely designed.
