This restaurant is in the central tourist district of Quebec City. The dining room is quite large, and I liked the set up with large tables well spaced from each other. Decoration was a bit old fashioned, with lots of browns. Service was impeccable, the right mix of friendliness and professionalism. Food was also excellent - one of the best meals we had in Canada. They had asked upon booking if we booked for a special occasion, and yes, the desert plates had congratulations for us with our names for our wedding anniversary. It is a very expensive restaurant, but we believe it was worth it.

What an amazing experience! Food was served as a multi course dinner. The entire restaurant team was fantastic: super attentive and informative. We were celebrating our anniversary there and it all felt so special. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I was at Initiale for a business dinner. We were given a table large enough to be comfortable and in a quiet corner for conversation. There is nothing worse than a loud restaurant when your meal is also a meeting. This was an excellent choice for conversation & food. The staff were knowledgable and considerate to our needs. The food was amazing. We had a multi-course dinner and each course was outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Probably the best restaurant in the entire Province of Quebec! The chef is as master at making sauces to complement most dishes. The cheese selection is amazing. The menu changes regularly, so you can return again, and again! This is a true 5 star restaurant. Very calm and velvety mood. The wine selection could be a little more extensive.
