Restaurant Éléphant D'Or

Was nothing special, but not bad if you’re in the neighbourhood. I had the Laos chicken which was fine but unremarkable. Not a good place for vegetarians.

Nice find. Unassuming suburban thai restaurant from the outside but really nice menu choices all available as course menu at dinner or lunch time. They will adjust the level of spiciness so do not be shy to ask for spicy or really spicy. Will definitely be back to sample rest of menu. Oh before I forget this place is a BYOB so more added value to what is a great deal!

Great general north american asian style food. Fried rice is amazing!

We wanted some green curry, but they had none. The menu will throw you off, because it contains a lot of pictures such as you see in a fast food take-out. But don't worry: the food is DELICIOUS. We had spring rolls for appetizers and they were nice and fresh, with a delicious sauce. I am a vegetarian, and they had no vegetarian options, but the very nice waitress offered tofu alternatives. The tofu was cooked to perfection, match stick style. Nicely crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside .The vegetables (nice variety) were fresh and crisp, and the sauce was tasty. We tried a different Thai restaurant the next night and I am so sorry we did. The food here is far superior.
