    Just a couple kilometers from our hotel, we were on our way elsewhere for breakfast when I noticed this little shop. Inside was very quaint and the shopkeeper extremely helpful.

    We opted for the almond & chocolate croissants. Wow!!!! They were possibly the very best food items I had ever had. Seriously. I got me a 2nd and my wife chose something else which I seem to be unable to spell (it had a French name).

    It was the kind of place that didn't depend on tourism - definitely local. My only regret is that we're leaving town soon and that I may never be able revisit this gem.

    Delicious little cafe and bakery. Perfect place for breakfast on our way out of town on our road trip. Also a good place to force me to practice my French, as the employees didn't speak English (not that they needed to! We were in Quebec after all).
