“Had a wonderful dinner at La Tyrolienne - one of the best meals during our Quebec trip! Service was friendly (English speaking as well). We had one of the meals for 2 packages. Just keep in mind that cheese fondue isn't always in the hot pot - our cheese fondue was the lightly breaded fried Parmesan. It was delicious but I was hoping it was going to be in a pot at first. Just be sure to ask! No regrets nonetheless.”

“It's a small place around the corner of the block. there are 4 different portions; baby, small, medium and large. The one on the photo is a small. The sauce was very different from the poutines I usually eat, but it was very good too! The staff are nice and the place is very welcoming and cosy. I'd definitely go back.”

“We were visiting from Ontario and were roaming around for Halal food in Quebec city. We accidentally stumbled upon this place on google and called reluctantly. What a pleasant experience. Sister Karishma is so full of life and helpful, it's a rare thing these days. She went above and beyond to make sure we are all properly fed and happy. Top notch customer service, attention to detail and great food. More importantly she made us feel like family . What a wonderful human being. “We had a great dinner tonight at Kimono. This was my first visit. We ordered a chef selection for 4 people. You can see what we got from the picture attached. The rolls were all very good and tasty. But the two towers were fantastic. We got the lobster ones. The restaurant is very busy so make sure you make a reservation before and arrive on time to get your spot. The server we got was also very nice and accommodating.”

“We came here hungry after many hours of driving from Mont Tremblant. The service was really slow as there was only one staff serving seven customers before us, so we patiently waited in line for maybe 20 minutes. The staff was pleasant and even chatted with us for a bit (in English), seeing as there were no other customers after us. The food hit the spot and was really worth the wait! The dining area is richly decorated and really added to a pleasant dining experience.”

“Not sure how long this small restaurant has existed inside the strip mall or whether it will stay in this location. It’s a great place to try the African dish of mafé in a simple setting. Try the meat dishes. The main downside with African cuisine is the white rice so try ordering or substituting some other starch if you can. (February 2019)”

“So glad to re-experience the St-Hubert. I can remember when they were in the GTA (Burlington) and preferred them to Swiss Chalet. On longer in Ontario from what I can tell... Great to see so many in Quebec. It was one of my wish list items when were passing through. It didn’t disappoint. The staff at this location were very friendly and helpful. It was clean. I enjoyed my meal and will be looking forward to dropping in on another location on our way back to Ontario.”

“This is a great breakfast place. Got my favorite breakfast here. Eggs Benedict with Brie and mushrooms and added some smoked salmon to it. It's delicious. I also got a banana and mango smoothie. This is a real fruits one and it tastes good. They also have Omelets and a variety of crêpes salty and also sweet. Sometimes the place can get very busy so be ready to wait during the weekend s. Service is in general fast enough and servers are pleasant.”

“If you would like to taste typical Tunisian food in Quebec then this is where to go. The restaurant decoration is very beautiful mixing traditional Tunisian and modern styles. The staff is very welcoming and the service is great. I found the prices a little bit higher than what it is expected though.”

“We met friends for dinner at Restaurant Portofino as it was highly recommended to them. It was about a ten minute walk from the Hilton Quebec. The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside. When you walk in you are looking right at the pizza station and oven. It was quite warm in that area. In the back corner on the left was a singer with his guitar. From the back wall we turned right and walked past a number of tables followed by another right turn into another room with several more tables. There were some nice tables along the windows looking out onto the street. Unfortunately the restaurant was very busy and those tables were occupied. Our table was right beside the server’s busing station but it was not disruptive at any time during our meal and visit. They have a good selection of beer and wine as well as sangria and mixed drinks. We started the evening with a drink, visiting, and looking over the numerous choices in the menu.”

“I love hot dogs, and this the only chain that serves them that is near the office. I chose their #1 combo: 2 dogs, 1 poitine and a drink. All dressed is mustard onon and shredded cabbage. Great combo even without relish (at least I didn't detect it). The fries in the poutine were not quite crispy, and definitely not the nice brown I love, but not limp and greasy. Wish we had places like this back home.”
