“When I first discovered a shishtaouk restaurant next to my place I was very enthused. My first experience there went well I would say, they greet, smile and food is good (7/10) Now it's been probably a month since then and I've been there about 4 or 5 times. Today was the last one. The reason is that I find it unacceptable for a teller to ask for your bank card so he can insert it himself and enable the tip menu even tough it is a take out !!! I did not leave a tip this time. After paying, the teller ignored me not responding to my goodbye and that's the worse thing you can do to a customer that just put some money on your pockets! Nobody deserves bad vibes after a long day of work ! Update: Given the Chef Taouk s reply I felt obliged to meet them half way and adjust my review to 3 stars. In the end nobody's perfect and we all have our bad days.”

“Delectable apple bread. Certainly one of the best I've ever tasted. We were even lucky enough to get it straight out of the oven. Place was packed and little parking during apple picking season. Only disappointment was having picked up a small bag of Spartans and they were mush. That's where they lose a star, nothing worse than a mush apple. The rest will go out to the deer population.”

“Very nice smaller kind of sugar shack. The food was great from the start. The pea soup had big chunks of ham and tasted of fresh thyme, the omelette was tasty with herbs, the ham was of really good quality. The beans were dark and tasted of maple syrup. The cretons were so good that I bought some for home. The same with their pickles. The desserts were numerous and really well presented. The only minus thing was the sausages cooked in syrup. As everything was homemade, I was expecting the same for their sausages. It would have been nice to have pork and beef or veal homemade sausages. And you could take all the leftovers home in contenants brought from home. They even remind you when you phone for reservations. All together a really nice little sugar shack.”

“There is still people out there with Hearts of Gold, and the owners of this place are the best, heres my 8 year old daughters and i experience, we live in toronto ontario, area never bin in quebec , arrived at this water park with no gps only my cel phone which requires wifi, park closed, after driving 5 hours my daughter was upset, so we walked in and went for a swim anyway, then noticed people in restaurant packing up, went over,and was greeted by a friendly couple as im explaining our situation the couple start handing savannah and i cold drinks and potato chips, tried offering them money and wouldnt take it, then gave savannah a giant sucker free of charge, and then when because i was totaly lost they gave me an escort all the way to Montreal, who does that?
