“While in the area for the Blues Festival we found this gem of a restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise with good service and a pleasant meal. We enjoyed two of their evening specials; the trout and the veal. We will surely return another time.must have eaten here a dozen or so times over the past few years. Every dish is a challenge for the senses. The food and service here will easily match anything you will have experienced here or abroad.”

“I'm all in when it comes to chicken and fries. I've never judged and book by it's cover. I've tried this place several times. To my liking, the chicken was very cooked...to the limit of dry. The sauce was think...very thick. The place is old but is clean and well maintained...which somewhat makes it attractive. The service is OK, fast and polite...but since going to the restaurant is mostly about food and eating, three stars it is.”

“I only had a pepperoni pizza. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. The crust was also good, but it became a tad soggy from sitting on the pan it cooked on while i enjoyed the first slice..each slice becoming progressively soggier.. They could use the pans with holes in them to avoid this issue. The service was also good, we didn't wait over-long for anything we needed. Over-all a pleasant, fairly qiiet atmosphere and a nice place to have a meal with a few friends to round out the day.”

“We spent a night here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the hotel was very nice that they wrote a card with a complementary sparking wine, what a nice gesture. The room is spacious, the bed is huge and very comfortable! Our room did have a weird smell though, it bothered us a little but we got over it. The restaurant served nice food for dinner and breakfast was good as well. The staff was helpful, there is no lift, but the staff offered to carry the luggage for us. It's a nice place to stay if you are driving from Quebec City to Montreal and rather take a break in the middle instead of doing one long drive.”
