Restaurant Safari

One of the only places you can eat when we visited Hotel De Glace. Service was very quick and we liked the African safari theme. Serving size was also generous for the value. However, we thought that the menu lacked variety. It would have been better if there were more pastas and if there were beef ribs. We also thought that the food was just average. Other than that, it is decent for a meal

Resto Safari was by far the culinary highlight of my cultural experience in Quebec. The African theme really showed me what traditional Quebec food is like. The decor was stunning. The service was impeccable. And best of all, the food exuded the essence of the Sahara Desert as the chicken was drier than sand. Tearing apart the stiff meat with my teeth made me feel like I was the safari animal. What more could you ask for from a safari experience! I absolutely loved it! The coleslaw was slightly stale and sour which I just thought was so thoughtful of the staff to keep the theme consistent as it tasted like it sat in the sun for a day - just like in a real safari! I truly felt like a lion was going to jump out the kitchen at any moment - could hardly tell I was in the middle of Quebec!

We ordered the family meal deal (chicken) and it was great ! The fries and coleslaw were excellent ! Chicken and sauce were delicious too.
Service was fast and our waitress Frederique was polite and perfectly bilingual. Five stars !!!

Great! We had chicken wings and they were scrumptious. Prices reasonable and conveniently located within the water resort.
