Restaurant has stood for awhile, with test of time pressuring it. Still it is good and it holds up well today its competitors today. So yeah, please keep eating here.
Decent casse croute would not call this place top tear. Poutine was average and the dogs were ok but nothing to write home about I would call it average at best. Service is ok and staff is friendly. Pretty big lineup but it went pretty fast. Parking available but was pretty full and we parked on the street. Would probably not go back there are way better choices out there.
Excellent diner, great greasy-spoon food. Probably the best poutine in town. Real burgers and home-made pogos, and the coffee is strong. I've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years.
I almost gave it a 3 star but decided to be nice instead.
This restaurant is not what it use to be from years ago. The problem is the way they presently cook the food, sometimes under-cooked. Many times I have gotten hamburgers that were raw on the inside, aka pink. Sometimes the fries are cooked thoroughly, sometimes they're not.
Local people love this place but I think that's due to more of it's past performance. It went from being excellent to just being ok. I sometimes avoid going there due to the factors I just mentioned. It''s either a hit of miss when you go here, depending on the time of the week and the hours.
The staff are courteous and you can get a meal for a reasonable price.
Quick service. Food as expected. Certainly not fine dining but for comfort food you can’t beat the poutine with popcorn chicken!
