This place used to be great, now it's dying like many public markets. One local vendor has the monopoly of the fruit and veggie stand. Too bad. I still go there regularly, but there is no life to the place.

Best mix of specialized merchants and eatery in Laval. Local producers in the summer months and accessible parking. Love Mamie Clafoutis (bakery) and Olivier Potier (pastry shop) ????

Shopping here makes me feel like I'm in Europe..everything is so good & fresh..it's one stop shopping..fruits, veggies, wine, meat, bread or ready food for the hard working moms..highly recommend..

Clean, perfect service in several shops. Many hard to find meats, boar, horse etc. Highly recommended

Don't go if in a rush. Service at most shops is slow. Really slow. Employees are mostly detached and don't seem to have any pressure to provide service. Though not impolite, a smile goes a long way.
I wish there were a bit more diverse shops since there's only 1 type of everything (1 bakery, 1 pastry shop etc) in there but you can find specialty/fine products to fit your fancy.
Prices are on the high side for everything.
