Amazing fusion style sushi place, friendly service by our waiter! Loved the Rouge et Blanch and Madame sushis, as well as the salmon tartar and salmon sashimi. My wife and I took the omakaze special that came with all this! Definitely will come back or order out. Did I mention also a bring your own wine place!
Yummy, fresh!
Meilleurs sushis du quartier. Préférable de prendre pour apporter puisque le restaurant est pas très grand. Chef super sympathique
This place is a hidden gem and Luis is a great chef. To put this into perspective, I've eaten at pretty much all the high end sushi joints in Mtl, including park several times. In my honest opinion, Luis beats Park hands down. The reason being that the Rice is fantastic here. I remember Yasuda san in NYC once told Me that you can have the finest fish available, but if the rice is not approaching close to perfection, the sushi is worthless. The rice here is quite exquisite and not grainy at all. Overall, I'm very impressed with the skills of Luis. OMAKI is a wonderful new culinary discovery.
We tried this place last night and WOW!! Unbelievable!! I've been to at least 40+ sushi restaurants and not one holds a flame next to this place. It might not look like much from the outside but the food is incredible. The fireball sushi with lobster is delicious, the tuna salad was unique and also very delicious. Everything was super fresh and the owner, Lewis, was so accommodating and proud of his creations, and we can understand why. If your looking for regular run of the mill sushi keep going to your local sushi joints but if you want something different and authentic try this place, you will not be disappointed. P.S. the desert was also something special.
