“Decided to try this new location of Rubs in Laval last night Sept 21 2019 and was pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving and entering the restaurant right away greeted by friendly hostess. We had reservations and had no issues being seated. While walking to our table you can tell it’s new and very clean restaurant. The restaurant was filling up, a good sign for a Saturday night. Our waiter Philippe, arrived promptly and ask us if this was our first visit, he was very informative and polite. Drinks arrived fast and he regularly checked in on us, and all his tables. We ordered the platter for two $50.00. The platter arrived and WOW what a platter, great amount, a little of everything. I smoke meats at home for many years and this platter allowed me to sample many meats and WOW great smoke, great taste. We can actually see the huge smoker they us as you walk by the bar. If you want a great smoked BBQ place. Try is location or any of their locations. Will be back with a gang soon ! Hint: Make reservations”

Their home salad and vege pad Thai were pretty good but the General Tao tofu was off from the sauce to the cold flavorless tofu. The spring rolls were okay.
