    this is a fantastic quebecois diner pretty much in the middle of nowhere about 15 miles north on the border crossing. It's one of the only places to eat before you hit major civilization in Quebec. Not much is on route 133 since the highway bypassed the little towns a few years ago.This is one of the last surviving quebecois restaurants. It's all French only with classic Quebecois food. So lots of roasted hot chicken, poutine, QC hamburgers and crouquets.

    This place is cash only!

    Amazing poutine at this diner! Note that they do not take credit, but they do take American bills (if you're ok without getting any change back, which we were).

    Honestly one of the best poutines that I have had in the province and I have lived here almost all my life. The gravy is particularly excellent and with great fries. We went out of our way to get here and it was certainly worth the detour.
