La Cache Du Domaine

Our stay at La Cache du domaine was outstanding! The king suite was extremely spacious and very well appointed. Our visit to the "Wave" was inviting and accommodating, with superb service and fare. I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the Thetford Mines area.

The hotel is beautiful, the only complaint we have is minor and easy to correct. We had cups and tea bags in our room but could not get the coffee machine to make hot water. Others in our group had issues with the machine making coffee. I went to the lobby to find coffee and there was a kurig machine that required 2 dollars. I then had to return to my room to get 2.00. Another guest unknown to me was complaining about the same issue. Every hotel has free coffee, I was very surprised to find this beautiful hotel had coffee issues. The other issues was we could not get NASCAR racing or the new england patriots in the bar

Great location and looks very promising but seems a little undone. I would expect a little more on the “entertainment” side as there was not that much to do. The spa is great tho - they also have promotions for the hotel guests. I would recommend this for a very quiet get-away.

Nice location and view. Rooms are modern but quite stark and minimalist. Chairs are not overly comfy and could use side tables. Beds, bedding and pillows are very nice. The bathroom door is a slider with a large gap - adequate but not overly private. The usual environmental note about leaving towels on floor only if new ones are needed wasn't heeded since cleaning staff replaced all hanging towels as well - so what was the point? The only way to avoid all new towels was to forgo all cleaning, which meant no coffee replacement. Had to ask at front desk and was somewhat grudgingly given only 2 each day. Surely there could be a better way to reduce hotel cleaning costs, help out the environment and still provide coffee? It was nice to have a small gym to use. We will most likely stay again.
