Cochon Dingue Carrefour Saint-Romuald

On September 15, 2019 we dined at Cochon Dingue. We were visiting Quebec from San Antonio, Texas. The restaurant was recommended by front desk agent, Angelica, at Hampton Inn. The food was awesome and our waiter, Chris was charming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We stayed at the attached Hampton Inn and had some reservations about eating at this restaurant since most hotel restaurants are not very good. We were wrong. This restaurant is not part of the Hilton group but is a chain with a name that translates to "Crazy Pig" - an interesting name! Our first meal was a delicious and very tender pork chop accompanied by fresh vegetables and the usual french fries. We chose to eat breakfast here for two mornings which were probably some of the best breakfasts we've had. We tried the "Country Special" and a savory crepe another day and both were delicious. If you're staying nearby give this one a try.

Cute French bistro style restaurant with a good selection on the menu. Food is good and prices are reasonable although the portions are small. Service was a bit slow but acceptable. Friendly staff and free toys from a treasure chest for the kids. Decent bar area with tvs as well.

Very nice restaurant with very nice totally bilingual staff. Food is very good. Nice portions, good wait time. Great atmosphere. Crab and lobster roll is delicious as is their coleslaw and pork chops!
