Du bon miam miam! This sugar shack serves really good homemade dishes, I remember the pea soup was velvety and yummy - and I’m not usually big on soup. Big portions of meat flooded in pure maple syrup. Crispy oreilles de criss (roasted pork rinds). Serves the traditional maple taffy on snow. There a farm onsite where toddlers and kids can feed chicken, sheep, goats, pigs, an alpaga and a horse. There’s also dogsledding in winter, you can always watch the huskies if it’s not in season.
This is a great place to visit. You can learn a lot from the tour about the maple leaf syrupy ???? and the lunch taste so good ????. Thank You.
What great maple syrup from a family that has been on the land for over 400 years. Their maple syrup is top notch.
A wonderful experience at this Sugar Shack. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful they also had a hayride that took the kids I threw a a nice ride.
Well organized grounds are kept nice and neat and well-manicured
Good brunch/lunch. The food was very traditional in a classic Quebec fashion. The maple syrup is ok, pretty clear but doesn't taste as good as smaller "érablières" in the region. There is also a small farm with a small horse which was quite entertaining. There was a singer singing traditional folk songs but he was pretty bad. Would maybe go again.
