“Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are not quiet and old looking. I was lucky enough to be located near the stairs where until 1:59am I could here people walking. TV if you need it because of the not so soundproof rooms then you might want to be sure your TV remote works because ours did not... Beds and pillows are really soft and I haven’t been in a hotel or motel with double beds since I have been a kid. Being 6 foot it’s definately not ideal. Would only recommend it for its central location. Otherwise it was hard to find space to park my car and not very updated.”

“We were camping in Orford and heard about this place so we had to try it. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean but is due for an update. But, we’re not here fir decor, we ordered pizza and fries! I find that using a spray bottle for the vinegar is a great idea! Food is delicious. If you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Food was excellent, and service with a nice smile. Made a big effort to speak English when they heard our broken French. I don't expect servers to speak English in these parts by any means, but with the big effort I really do appreciate it. Looking forward to going back in the summer to check out the terrasse which looks very nice.”

“Loved this place. Reasonably priced with a bring your own wine option. The cheese fondue was spectacular and the Chinese fondue was very nice as well. I recommend one table d'hôte for two people as it includes one appetizer and one dessert. The rabbit confit appetizer was delicious as was our hazelnut fondue at the end.”
