Bistro Le St-Charles

Wonderful ambiance for afternoon/evening drinks, St-Charles has a nice patio with tables as well as a seating area if you wish to relax with friends. The have a creative menu, tartars, seasonal dishes as well as a unique spin on regular bistro items. The have a selection of beer on tap and an interesting cocktail menu. We did not look at the wine menu but shelves of wine inside obviously tells the story. Our server was eager to practice her English with my gf who doesn’t speak a lick of French. The service for our entrées was prompt. It was a small wait for our main which we shared. The prices are fair considering what we expected and we were not disappointed. We will visit this bistro again next time we’re in Blainville.

Too bad the service was so bad because the place and the food was great! Maybe just the waitress we fell upon, but I’m being generous with the 3 stars. She wasn't bothered to explain their 2 for 1 specials so we weren’t able to take advantage of it. She never made sure we had cutlery or glasses for water, we had to ask. She also got our drink and food orders wrong to top it all off.... When I ask for my drink or tatare « relevé » it does not mean bring me the Tabasco sauce...

Food is amazing ambiance is good but wine way too expensive...3 times + the SAQ Price..

Food was so delicious. Love the look of the restaurant, young fresh with a cool vibe. So glad there’s a cool place like this near home. Service was also great! I had Tartar full of flavour, the side salad was nice and dense, and the fish and chips were not too heavy with a great tartar sauce! Would definitely go back and bring friends!

What a nice and cozy place. Went to get only deserts and we were amazed. A very unique style of presentation. Not the typical serving plates as you can see from the pictures. The cheese cake was amazing. It was in the very creamy with splash of coffee syrup with mini waffles and strawberries. Very nice ambience. Loved it.
