Snack Bar Au Vieux Frene

Super place to snack on before going to great local activities.
There is a large grass area with picnic tables and a play area for kids with swings and slides.
We got a poutine and a club sandwich. Fries were absolute perfection, they looked regular, but they were slightly crispy and perfectly soft inside, really amazed.
Poutine sauce was a bit bland, per my wife, mine was good for the club.
Indoor seating also available, prices fair, will definitely return!

Cash only. Greasy spoon serving the traditional and then some including beer. Dogs are allowed outside near the picnic tables on leash. There is also an indoor dining area (no dogs there). The fries are good, so is the Italian poutine. (homemade sweet meat sauce) They have a bacon grill cheese that the kids love. There is also a playground. All in all, a spot we would come back to if passing by. I can't say that there are any, even somewhat, healthy options though.
