“What a nice surprise! Driving along 148 West just as you come into Montebello..here is a no fuss resto that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the club sandwich with beer and wine--delicious. The terrasse overlooks a small marina on the Ottawa River. Cash only but there is an ATM machine in the restaurant.”

“The food was high end Bistro fare with prices to match. The quality of the food was remarkable. Unfortunately the service left us wanting. We came in to the Bistro without a reservation at 4:45pm on a Saturday. We were told we could be seated only if we could guarantee we would vacate the table by 6:30 pm. There were too many staff members milling around behind the bar and it appeared that there was no manager present. The server never checked back to see how we were enjoying our meals or ask if we needed anything. The server was slow to bring the bills. This certainly did not match with urgent need for the use of the table for a 6:30 reservation. To recap the food was good but service needs to step up.”

“The food was good but we waited 45 minutes for our bill, which never came and the waitress didn't bother checking in on us at all.... so we went to the area where you pay to see if someone would serve us and let us pay our bill so we could leave..... and stood there for another 15 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us and asked us what we needed, we told him we wanted to pay and he asked us if we had our bill...... service needs improvement and organization”

“Loved everything about this pace. The vibe is exactly what you would hope. It is a nice / casual but well done. It’s classy, but laid back. Food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Napoleon Spaghetti. Don’t come here in a rush. Enjoy the more European pace to your meal. Freshly made food takes time and this place won’t rush you. If you want fast over good like other reviewers, go to Olive Garden.”

“Came here for a wedding in late September. The hotel is beautiful and has a very lodge/cottage type feel to it. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room perfect. The staff was also very friendly. Definitely worth a stay if you are in this area. Hotel is definitely worth the price.”
