“This place is nice, but not perfect. Our group was large, 10 people in total, and they were very accommodating by putting together 3 tables to make a big one for us, this was exceptional. After this initial great service it seemed like they took a fairly hands off approach to our group. If we wanted to order something we had to go to the bar and order ourselves. On more than one occasion I returned empty plates and glasses to make more room at the table. We were there for about 4 hours and no one asked if we needed help with games and I think they came by once to refill our glasses of water. The place is fairly small so our large group might have been intimidating to the staff. The food is tasty, but pretty much limited to fries and sandwiches. These are a fair size, but don't go here hungry expecting to get a full dinner. They have a large amount of board games, but the organization of them made it hard to figure out which ones would be actually fun to play. Again an enjoyable place to go with maybe a friend or two, but not perfect. Edit: I was originally under the impression gratuity was included for large groups, when it is not. I have changed my review accordingly, with my apologies.”

“It's not too bad. The food was made pretty quickly for how many of us there were. Though some people have had a history of getting the wrong amount of chicken nuggets which is strange considering that counting to 20 is not that hard for most people. In conclusion if you're looking to start a conversation with your doctor and you're fresh out of ideas, AND you're pretty hungry then this is a good place to go!”

“Excellent coffee spot! I had the "Eggy Thingy" on a cheese bagel and my partner had the Tuna Melt which has chunks of pineapple. The bread is freshly made in-house and tastes amazing. We also got a couple of the desserts and some blended ice coffees for the hot summer day. It was a perfect brunch!”

“I think McDonald's is a good place for kids. It has good meals like Happy meal. We love the mc chicken burger. The service is also very good. We like how there are smart order kiosk's which takes your order. We love that. something i would suggest that McDonald's should improve on keeping the washrooms clean. Not the best tasting desserts I have had. The waiter left our food out waiting to be served to us for almost 10 minutes... “Stopped in for a quick refuel on the way to a meeting and California Sandwiches didn't disappoint. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Sandwiches were first class. I had the hot chicken sandwich, my partner had the grilled veggie sandwich with added mushroom. Both were delicious. Wish I had bought a drink as the bun was quite dry and I was in a hurry to gulp it down but that was my mistake - a drink was offered and there was plenty of selection but I was too cheap.”

“Went here twice—overall I really enjoyed it. I had the breakfast bowl for brunch, it was delicious. I also had the Cauliflower Tahini bowl for dinner on a separate occasion which I also enjoyed. The servers were very friendly though service was a little slow. Overall, I had a pleasant experience though and I’m happy to see more restaurants focusing on plant-based diets outside of the city proper. I’d definitely recommend them.”

And another plus point is that there's table setup in the play area where parents can eat while watching their kid(s) play.. “This little gem is a beautiful place to go eat some fresh food and drink some wonderful coffee ☕️ we really enjoyed it time here surrounded by bright displays of art and photography by local photographers and artists. The place had a warming feel to it and the staff serving was exceptional and she tended to our every need with a smile. The food was hot and cooked fresh (with meat cooked to taste) and the fries, I’d never tried anything quite like these fries. “Well, first of all, I really really love their strawberry and mango meringue cake. I buy them regularly. But today's lunch was not what I am thinking of. the Service is good. They provide bread and butter before meal, which is soft and crispy outside. the main dish I chose is pork chop. it's just average. the potato scoop was hard to eat. taste like leftover, and for the veggies, really was the worst ever. diced carrot , pea and green bean, not a single piece was tender and fresh tasting. very disappointed. BUT I TAKE AWAY A STRAWBERRY MERINGUE CAKE, I ALWAYS LOVE IT!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CAKE!!!”
