“The place a cozy fast Mediterranean restaurant, they have a small washroom, the staff are welcoming and responsive. The food takes 5 minutes to make when a few people are ahead of you. There are takes around for eating the quick meal. The scale of the spiciness is on the hot side here, so when I requested, hot, on their scale it came so spicy I could barely have a bite at a time. All in all, the medium chicken on the rocks for about 10 bucks was good.”

“This was our first time eating at the captains boil. We visited the Oakville location. Food was very good and tasty. We ordered crabs, shrimps, fries, rice, corn and fried battered shrimps. Service was good and fast. It was my son birthday and we brought our own cake. After dinner they brought the cake with candles to the table with forks and plates. It was a nice, different eating experience.”

“I would love to give this place 5 stars, however the price tag attached to several menu items limits me from doing so only because I know how much some of this food would cost in the middle east also they only serve specialty kinds of beers and spirits. Having said that I will say the place is fantastic. Its vibe amazing. The food is rich with flavour and color the presentation is lovely. I would most certainly recommend Byblos Uptown. It's great for a small get together or party of two. Try it out.”

I ordered the salmon and for the price I paid I felt the portion size was small and the flavour could have been better. “Their thai is pretty damn good. Shrimp rolls was nice and the soup is plentiful. The chicken in the Hot and sour soup was not good, they could've done with the chicken and put more vegetables. Coconut soup was delicious and the broth was outstanding. Their Pad Thai is amazing. I will definitely go to try something else. Friendly staff, comfortable seating. Great experience. Parking is about $3.00 and hour on Yonge.”

“A small and cozy place with Himalayan music and decor. Not a hipster coffee shop. We had a hot chocolate and a latte. The hot chocolate was delicious because they used milk rather than water, and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. The latte was delicious as well. The drink art was the focal point of the experience for us. The art was too cute to drink! The barista is very talented. I just wanted to admire the art rather than destroy it by drinking. I suppose that's what pictures are for. “Being born and raised in Central Texas, my expectations going in to Adamson BBQ were high. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The brisket is exactly as my family would make it! Moist and tender with a bit of bark, it melts in your mouth. I have yet to find a barbecue place that has met my expectations let alone exceeded them, until now. The ribs were super tasty and tender and the potato salad come a close second to my mommas! The pulled pork was delicious as well, though, could be shredded/chopped a bit more. I grew up having sauce on the pulled pork but I was just as tasty with out. Other than being a bit pricey, overall I give it 5 stars for the brisket alone! It’s great knowing there’s a little piece of home here in Aurora for which I will be returning often. Well done team!”

“I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and 10 wings. For $14 the 10 wings didn't come close to 1lb (yes, I weighed them) and 2 of those 10 wings were the size of pigeon wings. Not great for perceived value. The pizza was just ok. The sauce, pepperoni, and cheese were all fine....it was the crust that wasn't great. Seemed to lack flavour, but was advertised as sourdough. It was also quite hard and dense. Just a solid so-so. *edit* stand corrected on the sourdough- I read it on a review and not an official conspiracy pizza website. All of your responses aside, it still just wasn't great. I think you can make a better, flavorful dough.”

The staff members go above and beyond for their guests. The food is delicious! Mike puts his heart and soul into whatever dish he cooks. I've gone twice this summer, and I'm planning on going there throughout the entire year. Definitely recommend staying here for a nice little get away.”
