Dmytri's Original La Fonda Resturant

Loved the place due to the view and the atmosphere, can’t read the menu and just a few choices for breakfast but I would go back to see what’s for lunch and maybe I would give it 5. Make sure you go down the walkway to the beach awesome view.

A great spot if you are looking for an old school 50's tourist vibe. They have an expansive menu with tons of seafood and steak, good beer and mixed drink selection and solid prices. Not to mention live music and dancing.

Highly recommend this place in La Mision, Rosarito beach. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable rooms, private and quiet beach. Great service from the staff and the owners. My favorite place to stay on the weekend, because the homemade food and flour tortillas are the best. There's Sunday brunch all you can eat, fresh Mexican food, relaxing music. On the night there is a singer, plays the guitar beautifully so I had a lot of fun and a few margaritas!

Excellent food, excellent service. Great lobster dinner options. Paid $27 USD for 1 1/2 pound lobster dinner (1.5 lobster tails) with soup and salad, comes w/ beans, rice and tortillas. Lobster was fresh and tender. $4 USD for a large glass of wine. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Fabulous live guitar player. And beautiful ocean views! Credit card machine was down (common down here) but we had plenty of cash - always a good idea. Outdoor deck or indoor seating options. Early bird specials 4 PM- 6 PM daily (those were our prices). FYI this is right next door (south) to another restaurant also called the Original La Fonda. I recommend Dmytri's (this one) over that one.

I've been going there for 35 years... Next month is my 50th Birthday & I can't think of a more perfect place to spend it. Surrounded by good hearted friends and looking forward to meeting joyful new ones... Something that I can always count on at La Fondas is a GREAT TIME WILL BE HAD BY ALL!
