    I love Mata Ashta and go here all the time even though I don't eat seafood. The vegetarian rolls are really good and so is the steak. They also have a taco stand out front, a full bar, and live entertainment nightly that ranges from musicians to comedy shows to trivia and karaoke.
    The restaurant recently opened for Sunday brunch which I am dying to check out.

    The sushi, like pretty much all of Northern Baja as far as I can tell, is okay, not inspired. But the live music was quite good and not so loud that one couldn't have a conversation. The staff were very nice.
