Hands down, one of the best restaurants I've been to in several years. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is laid back. Oh, did I mention they let you sample their dishes before you order?? Give it a try.

This place is the real deal. I ate alligator gumbo and crawfish gumbo with cornbread, dirty rice and field peas. Uncle Mick was walking around talking to people. The atmosphere was great. If you can, go eat here!

This is a very nice, clean and upscale restaurant! The staff are all very friendly and dedicated to making sure you get plenty to eat and satisfied! The best thing is the Uncle Mick was there behind the counter serving and walking around to make sure you have everything you need! Another great reason to eat there is that if you've never been there, they give you a sample of the entrees you'd like to try, haven't seen this at any restaurant!!!! I had the chicken and dumpling special today and it took me back to my Granny's kitchen when she used to make them. Made me very happy to have that memory again. I also had the Alligator Sauce Picante over dirty rice and OMG it was absolutely amazing!!! The fresh field peas and green beans brought me back to all those summers in my grandparents garden and eating fresh vegetables straight out of the garden. If your also looking for the most authentic Cajun Bread Pudding with a bourbon sauce then this is the place for it!! I definitely plan on coming back to see Uncle Mick and his great staff and chowing down on some delicious, authentic Cajun cuisine!! Keep of the great job Uncle Mick!!
