El Monterrey Mexican Grill

During my wife's extended stay at duke recently, I ate here 5 times. Took some visitors several of the times. Food and staff were all great every time. Also one of the only places open after duke visiting hours. Burrito California with chicken and the shrimp lovers nachos were the favorites.

The new location is amazing and the food and service are great as always! One of my favorite places to eat!

This was an interesting restaurant to say the least. It had odd decor and out of style music, but that wasn't bad. The service was good as we were greeted immediately and the drinks, food, and chips were served in good time and refills were kept up on, though we only got one serving of chips. The food was decent, though it wasn't much to go home about. The guac tasted old and spoiled tho. Otherwise, again, it was decent. I just wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Very friendly staff. I love the new location as well. Portion sizes are small and that is the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. One of the best places to eat in Bay Minette!
