Boudreaux's Cajun Grill

Boudreaux's is the perfect blend of southern, coastal and Cajun food! It's right on the Bay so if you sit outside you get a great view with your meal. Every time we go, the food is consistently amazing and the service is always wonderful. Every time we have family visit, we take them here. Delicious food and great service will never go out of style.

Not only are the views from the back porch incredible at sunset, but there is typically good live music out there too.
The service has always been great from the hostesses to the servers to the bartenders (whom are typically very generous with bourbon pours!)

The food......

The VooDoo pasta is one of the best dishes in Lower Alabama without a doubt! They will also make it with rice instead of pasta for those of you avoiding gluten.
The smothered catfish and blackened catfish are also both insanely good. So good. My mouth is watering. Gosh. Ugh. Anyway, they also do a bang-up job with their red beans and rice! And the grit cakes are the perfect compliment. I will also through out there that the side salad they start you with is fantastic as well. It’s a little treat. I prefer mine with the citrus vinaigrette, but the basil dressing is good too.

If you are looking for a great place to grab some food with an amazing view, great service, and delicious food- this is your place.

Spinach & Artichoke Dip - Not the best I've ever had but definitely in the running for top 5! - Yummy 😋

Fried Green Tomatoes - The fried tomatoes themselves needed more seasoning (I was taught the rule is to season each layer). Still, the combination of the shrimp topping and coleslaw makes this dish very tasty! - Yummy 😋

Bone-In Pork Chop - Seasoned to perfection! A bit dry/overcooked but the sauce topping helped to outweigh the dryness;
Braised collards - seasoned well with a bit of sweet - Yum
Grit cakes - taste ok, but could be better with more seasoning and if cook thoroughly (they were slightly gritty). In my opinion, grits are best cooked until soft but maybe grit cakes are different... I have limited experience.

Voodoo Pasta - Very good! Again seasoned to perfection! - 😋

Bananas Foster Bread Pudding - Very, very good combination!!! Make sure you eat it while it is hot! Yummy 😋

This is absolutely the best Cajun food anywhere in the area! Perfect every time! The gumbo is the only authentic gumbo I have eaten within a 100 mi radius. I recommend this place highly.

I'm new to Cajun food and saw this place while riding my Harley. Talked to another motorcycle enthusiast in the motorcycle parking area and met another cool southerner while I placed an order online. I got it and brought it to my motorhome where I enjoyed one of the tastiest meals I have had in a long time. Voodoo chicken and red bean soup! Awesome!
