Great place to take the family! Adults can enjoy a bushwacker and catch a tan, and the water is shallow enough for the little ones to play without fear of being above their heads. The view of the boats is beautiful and the dock helps block the large waves from cashing on shore or pulling you under. The two issues with this place is dog owners not being required to keep their dogs on a leash and not enough parking. The problem with the dogs is huge! Dogs will get into your food, beach totes, and run all over your beach towels/blankets leaving everything covered in sand! I love seeing animals enjoy time with their families, but I do not agree with letting your pets run free around other families. The parking isn't terrible but it can be difficult to find "legal" parking (not on private property). All in all, a great place to visit on occasion.

Some of our favorite bushwackers in the area. The boat docks were nice and newly rebuilt. They have an Area for kids to play in the water safely away from boat traffic. The food could be better but this place leans more bar than restaurant so you have to give them credit where it's deserved. Lots of people and a party atmosphere every time we went. It's a must stop here kind of place every time we come to FL!

Good place for families to bring their kids for light swimming and watching boats. Popular place to pull up your boat, grab a bite and drink, then head out. Be aware that alcohol is served here, so the atmosphere can be more beach bar vibe than family excursion. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. They serve a mean Bushwhacker and the Burger is great!

This was a place my husband and his siblings went to with their grandfather as kid's. It is really quirky and off the pathway. He said it was a local hideaway that had the best burger ever. I have to agree it does have a great burger. The local hounds that walk in to say hi were a neat unexpected addition. If you're looking for a good drink and a burger on a quiet afternoon or maybe a night with a group of friends, definitely try this place out!
