Desmond's Taste of Jamaica Restaurant

My new favorite restaurant and some of the best food I have had since I was in the Caribbean! I was awestruck with the flavor and delivery in each dish. Not just delicious but beautifully presented in a welcoming environment. Desmond is doing it right!

AMAZING! I'm not even sure that's a strong enough word. The food was phenomenal, best food I've had in my 37 years of life. Whenever we eat out now it will always be at Desmond's! Just going to start at the top and work my way down the menu. I had the ribs... huge portion! The bone literally fell out when she set the plate on the table. Collard greens were the best I ever had! Seasoning was perfect on everything. Definitely try the fried plantains....hell, try everything because I guarantee it's all going to be delicious! Husband had the jerk chicken which had the perfect amount of char but was still super tender and juicy!

This food here is Amazing. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. There was only one server and house was packed but she still made us feel like we were her only table. Definitely worth the wait.

Tried this place for the first time today. Absolutely amazing. Best crab cakes hands down and there jerk chicken is to die for. Will definitely add this to my list of go-to places to eat! If you're ever in foley or close by go check them out! Such a good atmosphere 👌 you will not be disappointed!

Had lunch with my wife and granddaughter at Desmond"s today. The food was wonderful as always. Been here numerous times and it is always great food being served. Do yourself a favor and try it out . You won't regret it. My granddaughter had a cheeseburger and said it was the best one she had ever had! The fried green tomatoes were out of this world, and the shrimp taco's were delicious.
