Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen

Good food. Greeter was rude. Waitress was nice. 3 stars over all for greeter and how the restaurant waste food And spiders. This place will not let you take home the food, and we found out they also use the fried chicken that is not ate in the chicken and dumplings. Do not set in the chairs up-front they are covered in spiders. We told the manager and asked for a couple of chairs and they said it is the south spiders are everywhere. That maybe so. Wait until a person gets bit and see how fast they do something about the spiders.

The most wonderful people work here, so nice. Everything we had was wonderful, fresh and tasty. Even basics like mashed potatoes were wonderful. This was the second visit for my sister and I, we traveled off I-10 on our way to Florida just to take our parents here and they both want to stop again on the way home. Fabulous!

13 of us tonight. We are local. Fried chicken was fall off the bone tender. 1st time trying the cream corn, best I've ever had in my life. Everything was wonderful. I can't remember the name of our waitress, but, she did an outstanding job with this big group. My only beef would be, the biscuits were stone cold, the only time I've ever had hot, fresh biscuits was the week Paula deans opened.
