    Parking rates are:

    $3 for 2 hours
    $5 for 4 hours
    $10 ALL DAY

    Very large covered Pavillion area with seating for close to 100 available for rent or picinic lunches if vacant

    Clean spacious showers

    Huge beach area where everyone can easiky practice social distancing. I came early (8am) on a holiday weekend and it was empty. Grabbed a primo parking spot, a shower, and set up my beach towel exactly where I wanted to be.

    For the next few hours people were steadily streaming onto the beach but I was pleasantly surprised it never felt crowded to me. Wish I could stay for a month!!

    My girlfriend and I just so happened on this place because we couldn't find parking at a local restaurant. So glad we did. Nice, quiet, and Weddings!!

    Absolutely gorgeous!! We had a run in with someone setting up the chairs and recliner covers and he was super courteous and even helpful. This beach was our favorite of the week!

    A lot of beach, just no pets allowed. This is a very clean beach and we love it. We just wanted to bring our yellow lab with us.

    One of the nicest spots in town. On any sunny day, you can lay out on the grassy areas of Gulf State Park Pavillion and feel relaxed. The place is filled with people, but there's something about this place that makes you happy - you just want to lay out on your beach towel with a picnic, drinks, and chill all day. You can people-watch, hang with friends, and just mix in with the crowds.
