We stumbled onto Jesse’s on the Bay while in Gulf Shores Alabama. Reservations required. We sat at the bar. Bay views while you eat. Mario at the bar was good but thought he was great (sorry man, but just taking an order does not make you fantastic). Food was good. Filet was the best part. Not Ruth’s Chris quality but surprisingly close. Fifty bucks more than the meal was worth in my estimation of other beach places, but compared to local competitors in Gulf Shores, it was cheap. Typical place here charges $30 for fried frozen shrimp and French fries so budget accordingly. Great bourbon selection. Plenty of “vanilla” flavored celebrity tequila’s for fifteen bucks a pop. 🤢 Desert was unique. I had an orange and blueberry tiramisu that I would eat again. I would go back, and would recommend. There is a bar downstairs where you can wait for your table. Great views. Dress should be resort casual, and mostly was.

First, it's worth the drive! Excellent facilities located on the bay with seating both inside and outside. The food was hot and delicious! We started off with appetizers, House Bread, BBQ Shrimp, and Crab & Tasso Gratin, which were excellent. We also ordered the shrimp tacos, which were good. If you are on the coast, it's worth a stop.

Absolutely gorgeous and incredibly delicious. So convenient for anyone staying out further from “town.” Great wine selection, too and kid’s menu. The market salad was so tasty and my special Halibut fish was amazing. Plus, the sushi style tuna appetizer was so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

We visited this little gem of a restaurant on a Saturday afternoon after spending the morning in Fort Morgan. While we did not have reservations we were graciously seated at a 2 top with a bay view. The interior is beautiful and definitely fills the gap for fine dining in this area. I could already tell we would need to return for dinner to get the full effect of the atmosphere and to take advantage of the upscale menu. Our server, Bart, was extremely helpful in guiding us thru his recommendations. We started with the "boutique oysters" which on that day were a half dozen Murder Points served with 2 delicious mignonettes as well as the typical cocktail sauce, horseradish and lemons. Next we followed with the Weekly Tacos, which were fajita spiced shrimp, and the Bourbon Bacon Burger with the hand cut fries. Everything was outstanding. When Bart reviewed the menu, he did point out that several things were not available including the swordfish and the pork chop. This was a little disappointing especially since I had seen a huge chunk of swordfish hanging in the glass case along with some beef that was aging. But maybe those things just weren't being made available for lunch? Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, eating every last bite. And looking forward to a little something sweet or server recommended the daily cheesecake...a cherry cola cheesecake carefully crafted by the chef from a long list of flavors to imitate an iconic drink. Even my husband, who does not like cheesecake, enjoyed several bites of my dessert.
We are anxious to return for dinner to try their steaks and seafood along with another stunning dessert!
