I was very torn between 2 stars and 3. I went with 3 because the server was so friendly.

Most of the food was pretty good, but it was very pricey compared to what we got. The steaks on the other hand, do yourself a favor and stay away.

An 6 ounce steak was $25. That on its own was pretty crazy, but I thought either it was a typo, or it must be a really great 6 ounces for that price. Neither was true.

The steak was super tiny, and not a quality cut of meat. Second, I had to send it back once for being totally raw on the inside. If that weren't bad enough, the flavor was absolutely horrendous. And not in a fishy kind of way, it was just badly cooked with no seasoning to speak of. Ive honestly had better tasting steak at Waffle House.

With that out of the way, most others ordered some type of chicken or seafood and seemed to enjoy their food just fine. The atmosphere was pleasant, and its one of the few restaurants in town that you could see the ocean from your table.

Overall I would not eat here again, and could not recommend to a friend. There are too many other better options at that price point.

A six hour drive straight down the state of AL ends with a turn to the left or right. If you decide to turn left start looking for parking because the cinder block building, on the immediate right, tucked in-between the dunes, is the the best (NOT) kept secret in Gulf Shores. Nothing fancy, cold beer, local gulf seafood, fried, grilled & sincere southern hospitality. A smile greets you from hostess, service, locals and everyone else looking for a breath of fresh ocean air. Relax and enjoy.

The place was neat with it’s bright pink building right on the sugar sands of the gulf shores public beach. Upon entering we were seated quickly. It took a while for a server to notice us but usually when you seat your self at a restaurant sometimes they have a hard time keeping up with who has been served and who hasn’t. So this didn’t deter me from giving them any less than 5 stars. Once the server noticed us she was pleasant and quick. We got the alligator bites and mozzarella sticks. The alligator bites were really good. Also got a bob marley alcoholic beverage which was pretty amazing and also comes in a souvenir glass which was cool. The surf and turf was good as well. They cooked the steak to perfection and it was seasoned well. The shrimp were delicious and the seasonings were spot on. All in all I would definitely eat here again, and recommend trying it out.

Our server was awesome and put up with us asking to move outside half way through our meal. I can't remember her name but we appreciated her service! The food was good. We had the calamari and fried alligator for an app, a pony burger and a famous sourdough cheese burger. Super delicious. The sauce with the alligator was amazing!

Very cozy hometown bar. Great environment and very nice staff. I drink seltzers and they only had one flavor on that, but they had lots of other drinks available. Including Budweiser, which was hard to find in most places around the area. You can smoke on the outside patio, which is nice. And there was quite a bit of outdoor seating. It's right on the beach with a stairway walking right down to it. Bathrooms needed a little scrubbing but definitely usable.
