A small zoo but kept very nice and clean. Enjoyed seeing signs about birds nesting and asking for quiet. Loved the monkey island where the monkeys were running a marathon around the island. An art festival was happening the day we were there and included in the admission. Nice idea. We are from south Florida and will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.

This restaurant was super colorful and really seems to want to wow people, but comes off a touch gimmicky while there. We went at about 3pm, and it was relatively not busy, which is exactly how we wanted it during the pandemic. Staff were not wearing masks, though to be fair they aren’t required to, but I can see how on a packed night it might make people nervous to dine.

The food was good, but nothing to truly knock the socks off. It was very solid in flavor, temperature, and texture, and priced about on par with other seafood restaurants in the Gulf Shores area. I did appreciate the fact they had Royal Red Shrimp (without the heads) at a moderate price. We also ordered the Blackened Grouper Sandwich, which was flavorful and beautifully cooked. The toppings on the sandwich were bland considering the fish, but overall a pretty good option here. The grouper is definitely worth trying on its own without the bread or toppings, if offered.

Megan, our server, was impeccable. She has wonderful timing to check on us and we were never without a drink for too long, as well as good knowledge of the menu and was able to answer any of our questions with no trouble. The other servers in the area were also very nice and accommodating to their tables as well. Overall, this establishment is well worth the try for lunch or an early dinner and they offer beautiful views of the river and the ability to dine outside while listening to live music. Great place.

Edit; After we are we did go to the gift shop downstairs and bought a t-shirt, as I have an addiction to local business shirts. Anyways, the ladies in the gift shop (an older lady named Carol and a younger lady) were so sweet and inviting. They told me about how to get gum out of your hair (use peanut butter) and they were just really fantastic conversationalists.

We had the most amazing time here! Our server was Kelly, who was not only very helpful and attentive, but funny as well! He recommended us drinks and food that he liked. The food came out hot and fresh. Everything was on time. We will definitely be back when we swing through here again!

Went for breakfast.. the atmosphere is impressive! Breakfast was yummy, and the grits were spot on!
The bloody Mary gets a tad spicy, but its a must have! Yes, those are pickled green beans, amazing!
The service was good, considering how busy they were.. but that gives you time to look around! I will go back!
