Jesse's Restaurant

What a gem. Jesse's is known for their steaks, and for good reason. The Wagyu rib eye is probably the best steak I've had anywhere. It was cooked to medium/ raw perfection, flavorful, and tender. The staff is what you expect at a higher end restaurant. They are professional, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive.

Appetizers were awesome!😊however my porkchop was tough cooked to perfection just the toughest pork chop I ever had. I would have sent it back however it was the last one so I ate half took the rest home for the dog. Between the service and appetizers alone it was an enjoyable experience. They just need tighten up the pork dishes to ensure the customers receive nothing but the best cuts.

Atmosphere and restaurant setting is wonderful. My mother in law celebrated her birthday at Jesse's with small group of our family. Cocktails were terrific. Service was great. Unfortunately we all had mixed reviews on our food. Our family considers Jessica one of our coasts better higher end culinary experiences. That said hopefully the kitchen was having an off night. Entress were good but not great....when you are paying for great you have to be great. Ill be back but with greater expectations.

Yesterday we had a semiprivate reservation for a party of ten for lunch. As usual, as we have had several holiday parties here, our food was delicious, service was impeccable and setting was perfect. The chef accommodated vegetarian and vegan options, a huge plus. Some of the guests in our party were from out of state. They were charmed by Magnolia Springs and Jessie’s guaranteed a return visit. If you want to enjoy Southern hospitality at its best, I highly recommend!

I am somewhat disappointed in this visit to Jesse's. Had a reservation but was told wait would be another 10 minutes. We decided to wait in bar and were eventually served by a manager. Bartender was very busy. We were finally seated at a table and again waited for server who told us she was not told she had a table so sorry for the wait. I ordered an appetizer and small Caesar salad. Salad was over dressed and very soggy. Appetizer was good. Husband's shrimp and grits were fabulous. Wine was good too.
