Big Fish Restaurant

My wife and I first trip to Big Fish but with friends who dine there often. We had a group of 8 and our waitress was excellent. The place was packed and she took our orders and returned with dinner in a short time - amazing since most beach places have slow slow service. I had spinach salad and crab cakes- delicious . My wife had scallops and I stole one - also great. So great service and great food and not overpriced - it's hard to beat "Big Fish". Also the "scenery" was outstanding - at least 6 stars.

Service was average, she was nice and considerate except for one thing I will explain. Biggest complaint is we got the Hurricane and has shrimp, scallops, mussels, and blue crab claws. (Feeds3-4) I never found the blue crab claws. Come to find out "I think" as the waitress said they substituted it with more of the other things because they may have ran out. I would liked a more definitive answer and been informed on this. Not saying you shouldn't go here but other restraunts blew this place out of the water so to speak.

We just got back from a fabulous experience, a wonderful meal, and an amazing server, Adele. We were so impressed we felt compelled to post a review. From the time we got there to the time we left we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food and drinks were outstanding but the service was the best, thank you Adele! We visit Alabama each year for spring break and have found our favorite place to dine!

Nothing was bad but it also wasn’t worth the price point. Additionally, we sat at the bar and for there only being one other couple there, it took far too long for us to get any of our orders in. The bartender spent most of the time talking to the other couple. Which, I totally understand, talk to your customers, become familiar, that’s how you get regulars. But know how to balance that with giving others actual service. So between that and the high prices for quality I could get at lower end places, it’s a 3 from me.
