1. Stephanie makes this establishment absolutely shine because she is just an absolute joy to be around due to the ray of a sunshine human being she is for making my first Dmac's experience so awesome.
2. the food is ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. had i known driving from Brownsville texas on a 16 hour drive how great Dmac's was and is, I'd make that drive again just to eat here. the brisket and chicken are flavored impeccably. truly immaculate. no notes needed because it is that uniquely tasting and delicious. cleaned my whole plate and absolutely ordered more to go so i could enjoy it all over again on my way back home.
3. if you want 1 of a kind BBQ or just an extremely meal to remember, it's right here in Orange Beach. AL and you'd be doing yourself a disservice by missing out on Dmac's.
We went right in. Picked our own seat. The waitress came over with menus immediately and we placed our order. We sat downstairs but could hear nice music upstairs. The pork nachos were great and my husband cleaned his brisket plate with beans and potato salad. When we went out to the car we realized we had a completely flat tire. We called roadside assistance but it was an hour away. Stephanie Roosa came out and completely did a tire change on her own in no time at all! She is the boss!!! Where else can you get service like this?
During our recent visit to DMAC's Bar and Grill in Orange Beach, there were a few aspects of our experience that stood out. First and foremost, the pricing for mimosas was reasonable, and we were pleased to find that they offered affordable options for those looking to enjoy a drink during their meal.
While the mimosas were reasonably priced, the food, unfortunately, didn't meet our expectations. My husband's brisket was dry, and the potato salad was a plain version of what was promoted as a loaded potato salad. The lackluster food quality and variation compared to the menu descriptions left us feeling underwhelmed.
It's also worth mentioning that we had anticipated a brunch menu, but to our surprise, none was available. However, we appreciate the cost-friendly mimosas as a silver lining in an otherwise average dining experience at DMAC's Bar and Grill.
We had great fun sharing an seven top with two other couples for dinner. This is a great way to meet folks! Had the Mexican Burger with waffle fries and onion rings. My lovely side kick enjoyed the Bacon Blue burger. These were so filling and full of flavor.
Afterwards we ventured upstairs for a great band, Chapel Hart! This was awesome, we had a super fun night. This place was packed! The bar both up and down stairs did the best job keeping everyone supplied with spirits of enjoyment!
We were here on the opening night! The staff had some challenges. It was cool to see them work through this with no impact on the enjoyment of the clientele. We will be back!
I understand that there will be a coffee shop with a bakery for the AM locals and traveling folks to enjoy. Hope to see this happen.
Amazing comfort food!
Family recipes - everything is made from scratch in-house. I went with the pulled pork plate and my date got the brisket. Both were cooked to perfection. The potato salad was a huge hit. We were so stuffed we couldn't take another bite for dessert, but we will definitely be back to try the cobbler. Live music every night too! Absolutely recommend giving this place a try. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner even stopped by our table for feedback - she has a fabulous personality and we were laughing together as if we had known each other for years. Eat local!!!
