They aren't lying about having the greatest fried shrimp in the civilized world! Amazing experience all together! Very nice hometown feel to the restaurant. Very helpful staff that keeps the drinks and refills coming! Great for kids, friends, family or even a guy's/girls night out dinner! Absolutely superb in everyway that I rate local restaurants like this! 5 stars across the board, it will not disappoint!

Get the GUMBO! One of the best gumbo's I ever had!! The roux is perfect, great spice to it, but not too spicy. We had the Sunday lunch special and was so pleased you can order the fish grilled, not fried! It came out wonderful!! Big portions with 3 sides dessert and a drink! Very good place to go!!

I arrived around 4pm and we were immediately seated. The staff was very nice and we got our food less than 10 minutes after ordering it! Our waitress said it was because it was slow at the moment, although all the tables looked full so they probably get a lot of traffic.

The food was also really good, and definitely not too small of a portion. Our drinks came with a cup and a pitcher (water was free, my coke was $2.35). They claim to have the best fried shrimp in the civilized world, and I haven't had any that tasted better than what we had there! I even liked their crinkle fries, which I'm usually not a huge fan of.

Perfect grilled shrimp make your own cocktail sauce. There is shrimp that is rubbery overcooked and its a matter of seconds in cook time this place does shrimp perfect both fried and grilled. Waiter was mike and he was on point fast and attentive. He was awesome. Docs has 3 or 4 locations this one is very good like a great fish camp no frills but the food speaks for its self.

Have eaten there in the past and the food was awesome. We went there tonight and our orders of Ruby Reds came to the table partially cooked and cold. We told the waitress and she took them back to the kitchen and told the manager. A short time later she returned with 2 fresh orders and they were steaming hot. Like I said the food is awesome. The waitress was awesome. The manager was very nice and gave us a small discount. Will definitely return here to eat.
