Fresh Off The Boat

Definitely visit Fresh of the Boat if you are in Orange Beach! The staff is very friendly, we went around 5:15 or so and were able to be seated immediately. They have outdoor seating where you can watch the boats come into the marina. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! Everyone at our table loved what they ordered...red fish, fish tacos, the seafood pasta and of course my cousins daughter loved her fried fish kids plate. One of my cousins is a bit picky about her food and raved about the pasta. She said it was one of the best things she's ever eaten... so it must have been outstanding. 10/10 would recommend and would go back!
Edit: we did go back the next night for appetizers and desserts, as the desseet menu looked so good! 11/10 would go back

We went for dinner tonight. Our first time going. We loved it. Nice atmosphere - we dined outside. nice views. Our food was very good, amazing fish tacos and fish sandwich. The key lime pie is really good too. Can't wait to return next time we are in town. I will share with friends and family also.

Overall the restaurant is good but a bad server ruins a night. We dropped in to see a friend play music which happened to be during happy hour. We ordered a couple appetizers and several drinks. Service was extremely slow despite being very uncrowded. My last beer was delivered about a half hour after ordering and after we had paid check and were leaving. Fortunately in a plastic cup. When the bill arrived, it is on a computer screen with only information on how much tip to add. Fortunately I added my email address and got to look at what I paid. I went back to my server and asked why my bill was so high and she responded "did you want the happy hour prices?" No, I just enjoy paying more than I am supposed to. I know restaurants are suffering with a labor shortage and having to hire whoever they can get. Overall I would recommend the restaurant but if Morgan is your waitress, expect disappointment.

Stopped in for dinner was seated promptly on the patio as requested. Drinks were great. Ordered the special which was Mangrove Snapper over risotto with a fresh fruit salsa. Holy Moly absolutely hands down the best dish I have ever had! You will not regret trying this one.

Just wanted to say we discovered your restaurant last night and it was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and our bartender, Ross, was extremely attentive and entertaining. We have been condo owners for over ten years in Orange Beach and we have visited many of the restaurants and bars up and down the strip. We usually prefer to sit at the bar for the atmosphere. Ross made our evening special and rememberable. For that reason, we will be back...soon.
