Lauria’s Italian Bar & Bistro

This is the only time I’ve ever been compelled to leave a review. The restaurant was quaint, but absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was elegant. There was a live musician, and not only was she kind and enthusiastic, she played the piano beautifully and her singing was equally enjoyable. The drinks were delicious, highly recommend the Old Fashioned. The appetizer, the entrees, and the dessert were authentic and delicious. Would absolutely dine here again!

Such a delight to find a really good Italian restaurant with reasonable prices! We had pasta, salad, soup, and desert, all excellent! I'm almost afraid to give them a high rating because it is so rare to find an uncrowded restaurant with excellent food and service anywhere near Gulf Shores. Oh well, I'll take my chances and be sure to visit again when I'm back in town.

We live very close to Lauria's and decided to try it before their grand opening. The interior was cute! We got the Margherita Flatbread (pizza) and the Buffalo chicken Flatbread. Let me say, I'm not a fan of raw tomatoes, but I ate every last diced tomato that was on the margarita Flatbread because the seasoning and sauce was THAT GOOD! The Buffalo Flatbread was also good, but I found myself favoring the Margherita. Their food is pretty authentic, in my opinion, so don't go there expecting olive garden, lol! But I highly recommend giving this local eatery a try!
