Eastern Shore Lanes

I love Eastern Shore for their bowling lanes. Seems like they are kept clean and maintained well. I can't comment on the food per personal experience but my friend said the pizza was pretty good. They have nice bowling shoes.

My son and guests enjoyed the party there. No issues with at all!! I did have a few issues I attempted to address with no avail. My party host attempted to contact me before the party but when I asked if she could call after 5 or during lunch, she stated she couldn't. As I work in busy health care setting, I was not able to review details of party beforehand. During the event, I noticed the character balloons provided beforehand weren't used except 5 out of the 18 and half off those were deflated. My guests and I served food and drinks as our host and another stood in a corner and watched. I was attempting to box the cake which I should have done myself and she stated she will pack everything for me. When I went to place gift bags in car, the cake box was covered in blue frosting and got all over my seats and the box wasn't properly closed and the cake almost fell. I didn't notice this until u unloaded att home.. The decorations were not placed in the the gifts bags as requested and I had an upset child looking for them later. He was also disappointed his big #5 balloon had floated up while the hostess was loading his gifts. All in all, I could have fore gone the "hostess" and did it myself. She was sweet but lacking in some areas. I definitely would have tipped her differently had I known I'd be missing decorations and scrubbing frosting out of my seats.

I attended both of my grandsons birthday party here. Everyone had a blast! The laser game was by far my favorite. The younger kids were enjoying the arcade. We ordered from the diner when the party was over and the wings were wonderful! Will definitely go back!

Three stars tonight because we have had a couple of good experiences here but also a few bad ones. Tonight was probably the worst. Incredibly understaffed for a Friday night. One register up front open, so we couldn't get any kind of assistance when the ball return backed up for ten minutes because the line was a mile long and I was ignored while i was standing on the side waiting. It took 45 minutes for our friend to get some fries and some chicken tenders. My 8-year-old step-son went up to the concession stand to get a sprite and they sent him to the bar where he was ignored for ten minutes. My fiance finally went up there and they did the same thing to him then the bar tried to send him back to the concession stand. Just bad management and a lack of communication all around.

The final thing I'll say is whoever the male bartender was on 1/15/2021 needs to be trained in customer service. He was incredibly rude all night long and actually SHUSHED my fiance at one point. Straight up told him he didn't care about what he had to say. They ordered lemon drop shots at the bar and they poured them straight vodka and handed them a lemon. I will say that the female bartender was wonderful and she comped some of our drinks because she realized how terrible that guy was, which I appreciate.

It was overall just a terrible experience tonight. Especially for how expensive it was.
