Best cheeseburger around! BBQ is possibly best in town as well (have one more place to try before giving them #1). They don’t take DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS! To be told is to be forewarned, so don’t complain! Really good food and prices are great!

I have lived close to the Rocket for years. I love the Rocket, for hamburgers, that is. Their prices for the baskets are great. If you are in the Jacksonville Alabama area, stop and get a hamburger or cheeseburger basket.
Personally, I do not recommend the BBQ, because they specialize in burgers. I recommend the "What A Burger" for big eaters. It is the best burger I have ever eaten. Just be aware that BBQ sauce is added and it could be heavy on the mayonnaise. Order accordingly. Cash only too.
My biggest complaint is that it is a small restaraunt. Do not go during lunch hours (12pm) or peak supper hours (5pm).
Do not get me wrong, this is one of the best places to ever eat. If you don't mind crowds, love great burgers, and don't mind waiting, this is the place to be. If not, call ahead, order it to go. Hold the sauce, light on the mayonnaise, and lightly cook the "beer battered onion rings". Added the onion rings for the lovers.

It has been a few years since I been there. However the food has always been great. Service too.

If you don't go for anything else, go for the onion rings. It's absolutely perfect. Evenly cooked. Perfect texture and taste. Just yummy I know the majority adore their burgers. But they've always came second to these????

I love the old fashioned style BBQ, it absolutely Rocks. Onion rings and awesome fries. I can't drive by the place without stopping in. I wish the seating area was a little larger. But hey, the foods always been hot and great. Very consistent quality.
