Visited late night. Food was fresh and hot. Nice that the dining room was still open.

We stopped by for two chicken strip snacks with coal slaw, fries, and two chocolate shakes. As a former restaurant manager I was willing to over look waiting for 12 minutes in parking space 1. But the strips were dried up and small. The coal slaw was tasteless while the fries were salty. I had higher hopes for this meal considering the $18.84 price. I understand being under staffed, but the food quality is always a must have.

The breakfast deluxe, special, and hotcakes seem well priced, even with the substitute of chicken. Grits and gravy were placed directly in platters, no extra bowls. I enjoyed that. Maybe not as large a serving as some places, especially the eggs seemed less. Not complaining, I enjoyed it all. Even the coffee was good.
Most impressive was the conduct at ordering intercom. The lady was polite and asked if we needed help finding something on the menu. Still no up-sales. As a management educated person, this baffles me. Overall experience was good 👍

My sister and I decided to try the balogna egg and cheese biscuit this morning. Both of us were thoroughly impressed! All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The biscuits were as tender as could be, eggs were fluffy and the wait was literally about one minute. We will be back Soon?
