First time here. Was really good. I prefer places like this to the chain restaurants. We will be back.

Out of the way and not too crowded! The food was excellent as was the surroundings! Well worth the drive! ??

Not a bad place. My experience was a takeout order experience. Due to the location and limited availability I would probably come back.

I got the fried fish, boiled shrimp, regular fries, sweet potato fries, and hush puppies.

The batter on the fish is not what I would call crispy. A lighter cornmeal. It needs to be crispier. The fish it’s self was good though. White, flaky, and no fishy taste.

Boiled shrimp were fine. “It’s boiled shrimp”. Maybe adding a piece of super crispy buttery French bread to the meal would improve it.

All the sides were just meah. Reg fries and hush puppies probably come to the restaurant in frozen bags. Sweet potato fries do look like they could be on the fresher side but I’m not sure. All the sides in my to go order were soggy. No crisp whatsoever. Could be because they were in the togo containers.

We had dinner for four the other night and were very surprised. The road is a little bumpy getting there but once there the property opens up to a beautifully manicured RV park with a good view of the lake.

The restaurant has been open about three weeks and will have the liquor license soon.
The service was very good and it has a very down home feel, nothing fancy menu. We had the fried shrimp, crab legs and a rib eye.

Everything we had was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We went back to try the breakfast and it was delicious as well. The tomato gravy on a biscuit heavenly!
