Pops is a very quaint BBQ joint with a huge menu selection and great atmosphere. It has the locally owned vibe with the wooden sign out front and the gravel parking lot. You seat yourself when you walk in and the staff grab your drink and food orders quickly. Food came out in less than 10 minutes on a Friday night. I enjoyed my brisket plate (regular size) with the free homemade potato chips as starter. I would definitely stop here again if I was in the area.
Best pork sandwich I’ve had in my life! The smoked turkey plate is also a favorite of mine. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner - they have a large menu with something for everyone. Meats that are smoked on-site daily, fresh made sides, homemade deserts and an owner that is there everyday cooking with passion and serving with pride. Highly recommend!
I got the BBQ pork salad. It was phenomenal!! Definitely enough to share or you'll have left overs. I went through the drive through, and it wasn't the fastest service. But, the food more than made up for it. We will be back!
Wow!! This place is AMAZING!! The food is out of this world, I love barbeque and it was exceptional!! The people are very friendly and the prices are so cheap!! The quality of the food is just like your grandma made it, I really don't think it could be any better!! I will most definitely go back!! The only thing wrong is they desperately need a sign outside, I drove past it 3 times looking for it, but it was worth the search!!
The staff here are so nice, and helpful! The BBQ is also very good! But... Their white sauce has no bite. You may or may not like the lack of vinegar in the white sauce; it's not the same as the traditional Alabama white sauce. Overall, though, I do really like the place. We'll be back for sure.
