They are very good eats and the chicken went over well at my roommate office potluck.
Delicious food served with a smile. This family owned restaurant has real home-cooked food & cakes. A must stop by for anyone headed to the beach.
Love local produce! Massive fruits and honey from 10 miles away! The burger was awesome too! Can not wait for them to get their local milk and cheese products! Yay!
Quality of service was very good, decent folks doing a decent living couldn’t ask for more than that.
Quality of the burger I had was average, a little below if I am being honest. It seemed like it was hand-pattied but it was cold and was obviously cooked earlier before ordering. I personally am not a fan of smoked flavoring and I understand they use a grill for their food but perhaps having a cast iron flattop to sit on the grill for burgers? I sort of expected the bun to be charred a little as well. I also was a little shocked about fries not being a side but again, I understand they may not have a deep-frier. If I were the owner I would even put signs out with the specials, if there is any. Or at least a sign with a meal deal, something like 8.50 for drink, burger and fries/chips.
Overall it’s a nice little shop and I hope they succeed, I’m a huge burger fanatic and have drove above Montgomery just for a good burger, and I travel 231 mostly everyday so it would be nice to have a good burger close by on the way home.
