“We came in about an hour before closing tonight. They didn't rush us like some restaurants do when you go in close to closing time. The appetizer that we got was fried mushrooms. They were amazingly tasty. I had some chicken wings, and honestly, they were some of the best ones I've ever had from anywhere. The portions were great for the price. My husband and I were highly impressed with the food and service. Highly recommend this place. I'm just sad we live close to 5 hours away.”

“I stopped in today on my way from Troy to Dothan. I wasn’t expecting much because all of the barbecue I’ve tried here has been mediocre at best. That all changed after the first bite. I ordered the large pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Pork- the bun was a normal bun, the sauce was subtle and used sparingly and allowed the meats smoky flavor to shine through. The meat itself was moist without being a greasy mess which I also appreciated. Mac and cheese- when I first got it it looked like velveeta shells and cheese . After one bite it was clear it was homemade AND excellent Baked beans- the beans were a homemade blend of several beans and ingredients. Again very tasty. Please check them out and give them your business 🙂”

“They messed up my order of one standard Swiss dip and their new Swiss dip with brisket and bacon. They forgot the au jus for both sandwiches making them a moot point. The assistant manager Melissa was a doll and the next day, replaced both sandwiches free of charge. Actually she redid the whole order free of charge. Excellent customer service and the food was great! That's how it's done folks! Kudos to Melissa and her crew! Many, many restaurants, especially fast food could take lessons from her. And she was sweet as could be. Thank you!”

My husband ordered a cinnamon roll that had just come out of the oven and it was superb!! We ended up taking two more home! Our server Lori was awesome! Very nice and attentive! We met the owners…Donna (who made the cinnamon roll) and her husband Don are very sweet and nice people! They make you feel at home. Me and my husband will definitely be back!
