    This place was so unique! Rustic surroundings with incredible history. Paul the owner explained the history to us. Then there's the food! We had shrimp Royale, chicken Bearnaise, fried green tomatoes and cheese grits. All fabulous!

    Food was good. Service was great! The portions was very little for the price. I don’t mind paying more, but you should consider adding a little more food to the portion side. I ordered the filet which was good and the red potatoes and only got about 1/4 cup( if that) of potatoes.

    A hidden gem in an area short of quality dining choices. Menu choices that are far removed from the usual burgers and chicken tenders. The food is prepared well and taste great. The staff is polite and attentive. Definitely recommend

    Classic, rustic restaurant. Excellent food and service at a fair price. We lived in Selma 53 years ago and were told this was Selma's best restaurant. However, I was very disappointed then because they served margarine as their table spread. Now they serve outstanding French bread and zucchini muffins with REAL BUTTER! I had the shrimp and grits, Tasso ham, veggies, etc. in an excellent sauce. A great combination of tastes and textures. Highly recommend dining at Tally-Ho.
