Had the parachute burger. Loved the melted cheese overflow. Fries were fantastic. I would’ve enjoyed some background music.
Entered here for lunch as I have been wanting to give them a try since they opened. We first tried to order “to-go” on a Sunday but they informed us that they were not taking any “to-go” orders today. So, we decided to head there and eat in. The building (even under previous restaurants) still seems to struggle with keeping the place cool. It wasn’t unbearable but I’m a big guy and like my air conditioning. Others may find it just fine. When we first got there they said it was going to be about a 30 minute wait but ended up being maybe 15 to 20. However, I think they cost themselves some business because at least 3 groups of people who came in after us, turned around and left after they were informed of the wait time. They looked as if they were short-handed for the day. We weren’t extremely hungry so between the three of us we ordered a Jr. MOAB Burger with fries. We also ordered 20 wings some lemon pepper and some buffalo. The wings were pretty good but a little fatty and they were the smaller (Wing Stop size) wings. The burger was quite tasty but I personally have had better hamburgers elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, the burger was good and in the Wetumpka are is probably the best burger in the area. The fries to me were very dry and did not taste fresh. It was like they had been sitting up a bit. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the food did come out quickly. Overall, the food was good but at almost $17 per person with tip for 1 burger, fries, 3 drinks and 20 wings, it’s not a place I would be able to afford to visit often.
My husband and I went for the first time last night and it was amazing! The burger was delicious and the fries were also so yummy! We love a good burger. I got the Jr. Moab and my husband got the Zonk burger! This will definitely be our permanent burger spot! Service was also awesome! Support local, dine local!!
What a wonderful veteran owned Burger place. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt. It was a pretty busy Wednesday, but it didn't take long to sit and get our orders taken. The appetizer took 5 minutes, and the burgers were 12 minutes or so. I got the 1lb Moab Burger, which was massive. Great sear on the patties and super juicy. My wife got the Artillery Burger with Slaw and Chili. She said she liked it. The spicy pickle fries were also great. We definitely recommend this business from one veteran to the next.
Burgers are great! Zonk Burger was exactly what I wanted! Could use some music or something to help break the silence inside. I’m very excited to see them grow & continue improving.
