    Truman's Seafood is an off the beaten path restaurant (Mom and Pop Style). Just a cozy place with no fine China or Silverware here. What they are selling is good fried seafood (shrimp, oysters, catfish) and excellent hush puppies with write home about cocktail sauce. The small intimate atmosphere with older sweeter waitresses is fantastic, as opposed to a sterile no communication 20 something. Plus to top it all off, the owner is/was the cook!!!

    Long wait for food. Food was good once it arrived over 45 minutes. Catfish whole and fillet, hamburger

    We go there quite frequently and the food is always freshly cooked and tastes awesome.

    This is hands down the best seafood restaurant in the Montgomery area. The seafood and catfish is phenomenal, the atmosphere is nice and old fashioned and the staff treats you like family.
